Caleb Schrock-Hurst ’14 and local story teller Earl Martin will reflect on Mennonite Central Committee’s 65 years in Vietnam at a public session Oct. 28 from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. Schrock-Hurst recently completed a year in Hanoi at a publishing house whose work aims to help Westerners understand the complex history of Vietnam. Martin was in the country in the late 1960s and 70s as a relief worker. Both worked with Mennonite Central Committee, which is marking 65 years in the country.

The presentation is part of the 19th Annual Kennel Charles Lecture Series at Eastern Mennonite School. The presentation will be held in the school’s auditorium and is free and open to the public.
