{"id":25588,"date":"2019-11-18T09:13:50","date_gmt":"2019-11-18T14:13:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.easternmennonite.org\/?p=25588"},"modified":"2020-03-09T14:40:24","modified_gmt":"2020-03-09T18:40:24","slug":"daffodils-from-garden-club-plant-hope-for-spring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.easternmennonite.org\/es\/2019\/11\/daffodils-from-garden-club-plant-hope-for-spring\/","title":{"rendered":"Daffodils from Garden Club Plant Hope for Spring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Even as the days grow shorter, there is the hope for spring! <\/p>\n<p>Elementary students planted daffodil bulbs in early November on a bank in the sunshine, adjacent to the newly renovated building they will occupy beginning December 10. <\/p>\n<p>Spotswood Garden Club donated 100 bulbs for the project in honor of their 100th anniversary year.<\/p>\n<p>Glenna Graves, EMES grandmother, is a member of the club who generously supports EMES.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGlenna clearly cares about teaching the pleasures of gardening to children and gets down and dirty with them!\u201d says Lynette Mast, kindergarten teacher and past peacebuilding and gardening teacher. \u201cWe are so fortunate that she so generously shares her knowledge and time.\u201d<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Even as the days grow shorter, there is the hope for spring!
