Prospective students grades 6-12 and their parents are invited to a virtual open house and student visitation event on Wednesday, May 13, from 2 to 3 p.m. \u201cat\u201d Eastern Mennonite School.<\/p>\n
Using Zoom virtual meeting space, participants will have opening time together and then separate into two Zoom \u201crooms.\u201d<\/p>\n
Prospective students will virtually \u201cgather\u201d with current student representatives for a facilitated discussion. Prospective students will be welcome to join with both video and audio, or just by audio to listen if they prefer. Current students join the room and share comments about their activities and interests when school is happening on site, and what it has been like during closure. Debbie Katz<\/a>, high school counselor, will facilitate the discussion.<\/p>\n Parents will virtually \u201cgather\u201d in a separate Zoom room where they will hear from Justin King<\/a>, high school principal; Maria Archer<\/a>, K-8 principal; Mike Stoltzfus<\/a>, director of business affairs; and Patsy Seitz<\/a>, director acad\u00e9mico.
