A parent in the Keister school district began the clothing distribution program to help financially stressed families, many of whom are recent immigrants. <\/p>\n<p>On retrieving the donated supplies on Dec. 7, the organizer \u201csaid that it couldn\u2019t have come at a better time as they are working on holiday gifts for students,\u201d reported Jen Stoltzfus, elementary school office administrator. \u201cShe had tears in her eyes when she spoke of the need for the children and was very grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>EMES students are grateful they have extra to share and a chance to support other children in the local community. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the second year that our elementary students have collected warm children\u2019s clothing for a Christmas giving project.
