December is a special time of year in the life of our school. We hope you\u2019ll join us as we celebrate our community and Christ\u2019s birth this Christmas season! All programs will take place in the auditorium behind the upper building at 801 Parkwood Drive, Harrisonburg.<\/p>\n

Christmas programs<\/h3>\n

Tues., Dec. 6, 7 p.m. \u2014 Middle school instrumental concert<\/p>\n

Thursday, Dec. 8, 6:30 p.m. \u2014 Elementary Christmas program featuring songs with dance and musical instruments of the season<\/p>\n

Sunday, Dec. 11, 6:30 p.m. \u2014 The Walking Roots Band, in partnership with the VA Mennonite Relief Sale, presents Singing Light,\u00a0 a Christmas music benefit concert to support MCC\u2019s relief and development efforts around the world. \u00a0All are welcome. Admission is free, and donations will be accepted.\u00a0 See more about\u00a0The Walking Roots Band\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Tuesday, Dec. 13,\u00a0 7 p.m. \u2014 Christmas Concert featuring the EMHS Symphonic Band, String Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra, and Jazz Band performing music of the season.<\/p>\n

Thursday, Dec. 15, 7 p.m. \u2014 Choral Christmas Worship Service: Lessons and Carols featuring sing-along Christmas carols, a re-telling of the Christmas story, and performances by the Middle School Chorale EMHS Concert Choir, and Chamber Choir.<\/p>\n

Christmas Fund Drive 2022<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 2022 Christmas Fund Drive launches Nov. 21.\u00a0Community is our theme this year and it also describes the people who make EMS possible through giving generously.<\/p>\n

Since 1948 students have led the drive. Funds raised during this drive support our\u00a0Fondo del siglo II<\/a>, making up the difference between tuition investments and the actual cost of an EMS education. The fund also supports financial aid for many students, making the EMS experience possible for more families. Read more<\/a> and consider supporting<\/a> the drive!<\/p>\n
