Congratulations to Eastern Mennonite School on our 2026 Best of Virginia win!
Thousands of Virginians cast their votes, and they chose us. Among all businesses in our category across Virginia Living’s five regions, only three make it to the podium, and after more than 250,000 votes, we are proud to be one of them. This achievement is not the result of just one individual or a single group. It reflects the dedication of:
- The teacher who stayed up late refining her math lesson to ensure that every student understands the key technical steps for success.
- The counselor who collaborated with the classroom teacher and principal to create the ideal social pairings for a campout, promoting inclusivity.
- The staff member whose door is always open to any student in need of a listening ear.
- The parent who volunteers at every opportunity, recognizing the unique experiences their child has at EMS and always ready to give back.
- The generous donor who has included EMS in their estate plan, knowing their investment will benefit future generations of students.
(These are all real examples.)
