Middle School Play – Save the Date!

Eastern Mennonite School’s middle school students are set to deliver laughter and entertainment with their upcoming play, “Shakespeare’s Shorts,” scheduled for May 8-9, 2026, at 7 PM. Under the skilled direction of Douglas Alan Deal, this production promises a fresh take on two of Shakespeare’s classics.

The play will feature “15 Minute Hamlet” by Tom Stoppard and “On With the Shrew!” by Bill Van Horn. These adaptations of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” and “The Taming of the Shrew”!

Performances will take place at the Eastern Mennonite School Auditorium. Tickets are priced at $5 for both adults and students and will be available for purchase starting April 20. They can be online, at the middle/high school front office during business hours, or at the box office before the show. Seating is general admission, with doors opening 20 minutes before each performance.

For those with mobility issues, specific seating arrangements can be made by contacting the ticket office.
