Summer Camp
Get ready for an unforgettable affordable summer adventure! Eastern Mennonite School is thrilled to announce the return of our exciting summer camp program in Harrisonburg. Designed for curious and energetic middle schoolers, our camps are led by passionate EMS faculty, staff, coaches, and selected experts. Open to everyone in the Shenandoah Valley—Harrisonburg, Rockingham, Staunton, Waynesboro, and beyond—our camps promise not just to educate, but to inspire. Spots are limited and we did sell out last year in most camps so register now and let the adventure begin!
Who: Students entering 6th, 7th, or 8th
What: Options for half-day or full-day summer camps, running Monday through Thursday
When: Morning courses from 9:00 am to 11:45 am; Afternoon courses from 12:15 pm to 3:00 pm, with a designated time from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm for drop-off. Full-day students will pack a lunch and eat from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm. The weeks of summer camp are:
- Monday, June 29 - Thursday, July 2, 2026
- Monday, July 13 - Thursday, July 16, 2026
Where: Held on the EMS campus, with some courses including field experiences.
Cost: Summer camp costs $150 for each class for the week. For example, if a student takes a morning class and an afternoon class the cost for the week will be $300. If an EMS student brings a friend who does not attend EMS, both students get 50% off.
Schedule:
- 8:45 - 9:00 am Drop-Off for morning courses
- 9:00 - 11:45 am Morning Camp
- 11:45 - 12:15 pm Lunch (bring a packed lunch) and Pick-Up & Drop-Off for half-day students
- 12:15 - 3:00 pm Afternoon Camp
- 3:00 pm Pick-Up
