Interests
I enjoy reading fantasy books, spending time with friends, playing games, and listening to various genres of music. I also enjoy making music by playing my guitar or trombone, and singing at church or with my choir, Chordially Yours of the Shenandoah Valley.
Church
Ridgeway Mennonite Church
Family
My Wife, Erin, and I have lived in Harrisonburg since college. Erin graduated from EMU and works part time at our church, where she spend the other half of her time being a stay-at-home mom to our young daughter and taking care of our wonderful dog.
My dream for EMS
In the realm of the instrumental world, I hope to be a facilitator of music making and growth for our students. My hope is that all students realize that music is a beautiful gift given to all of us by our God and all of us are invited to take part in this marvelous gift. Music will be a place that students can learn and grow together in a community of friends and colleagues through challenges, beauty, and fun. We will tackle the challenges and successes of instrument learning together as a community to help us all become a better version of ourselves.
