Eastern Mennonite High School to Stage “Around the World in 80 Days”: A Whirlwind Adventure on Stage
Come to the fall play!
Eastern Mennonite High School is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of “Around the World in 80 Days,” a thrilling adaptation of Jules Verne’s classic novel. Audiences are invited to embark on a whirlwind journey as the enigmatic Phileas Fogg attempts to circumnavigate the globe in just 80 days. With his fortune on the line, Fogg and his resourceful valet, a former circus performer, will traverse continents via steamships, locomotives, and even elephants. The play, adapted by playwright Laura Eason, brings Verne’s timeless tale to life with a fresh, modern twist.

- Friday, October 31 at 7 PM
- Saturday, November 1 at 7 PM
- Sunday, November 2 at 3 PM
- Prices:
- Adults: $10
- Students and Senior Citizens (65+): $5
- EMS faculty and students: One free ticket
- Tickets available at easternmennonite.org/tickets, the middle/high school front office during school hours, or the box office before the show.
- All seating is general admission with doors opening 20-30 minutes before showtime.
