I enjoy being outside in my garden or on walks with my two dogs and family. I love board games, reading, and bird watching.

My husband and I have a 1 year old daughter and two dogs, an Australian Sheppard and Husky/Golden mix.
Community involvement
My family currently lives in Grottoes, but I am originally from Buena Vista Virginia. We used to coach tennis, but have slowed down since having our daughter. We still attend many sporting events in the area.
Favorite Bible Verse or Quote
Matthew 14:30-31 - I have always loved that Christ reaches out to Peter as soon as he calls out when afraid. This verse gives me comfort in hard times.
I'm inspired by...
I'm inspired by my daughter, the next generation of learners, and people who lead with kindness. I also love discovering the beauty and patterns found in both math and nature.
My dream for EMS
My dream for EMS is that it continues to be a place where students are known, valued, and encouraged to become the best versions of themselves. I hope every student leaves with a strong sense of who they are, a heart for serving others, and the confidence to use their gifts to make a positive difference in the world.
