Everett Brubaker ’10 Takes New Post with Housing Authority

Everett Brubaker '10

Everett Brubaker ’10 was named new Resident Services and Communications Coordinator at Harrisonburg Redevelopment & Housing Authority in July.

In the role, Brubaker will improve communication between HRHA and the community, and assist with services and events for residents.

Previously, Brubaker worked as the University of Virginia’s Dining Services Sustainability Coordinator. See an article he wrote, “A Year of Sustainable Dining at UVA,” student initiated changes at the university to limit dining hall waste.

Brubaker holds an MA in Communication & Advocacy from James Madison University and his undergraduate from Eastern Mennonite University where he majored in environmental sustainability with minors in business and sociology.
