EMS Seeks International Student Hosts for 2021-22 School Year
Eastern Mennonite School is seeking host families for international students for the 2021-22 school year. Host families provide a home away from home for a high school student from another country, providing practical and emotional support.
Host families receive a monthly stipend and support from the school through the International Student Officer who collaborates with school counselors, the principal, English for International Students teacher, admissions counselor and others to make sure the student and host family needs are met. The officer facilitates orientation, social activities, and connections for details such as banking, phone service and health care, to support host families.
Hosts complete an application and review process.
