On September 1st, Eastern Mennonite School and Eastern Mennonite University co-hosted the Eastern Mennonite Invitational, the school’s first home cross-country meet in many years. The event was well-attended and drew an enthusiastic crowd, cheering on the runners as they traversed the course. Erin Loker (’24) of Eastern Mennonite School secured an impressive second-place finish in the girls’ race, while two boys, Jedrek Sneary (‘25) and Drew Holland (‘24), placed in the top 10.

Despite the heat, our runners performed admirably, and the event provided a valuable opportunity for the community to gather and celebrate their accomplishments. We’re excited to see what future events will bring!
