Eastern Mennonite School prioritizes affordability for families, recognizing that investing in education is an investment in a child’s future. EMS strives to make quality education accessible to all. There are various scholarship opportunities available to students grade 9-12 at EMS. Please follow the links to find out more and to apply.

Blauch Brothers STEM Scholarship recognizes qualifying high school students with interests in vocation training and the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Leadership Scholarships, honoring alumnae Carmen Strite Miller ‘71 and Laura Bomberger ‘09, recognize students in grades 9 through 12 who are developing an awareness of their unique inner “flame.”

Multicultural Scholarship aims to foster diversity within our student body, enriching our learning community. EMS is located in one of the most diverse cities in the state of Virginia. Multiple recipients of this scholarship will be named as long as funding is available.

The deadline for these scholarships is February 28, 2024, with recipients notified starting March 15, 2024.  Details and application guidelines are available on our website.
